Maroons FC host Proline FC in their second round Uganda premier league opener at Prisons ground Luzira.

Coach Bwemweyana applauded the league time break and is readily confident and hoping for better results in second round compared to what they cultivated in first round.

“We have done all the core work leading to Tomorrow’s game and we feel very ready and the boy are looking out to it” Bamweyana after team’s last training at Luzira.

“We left with sour taste in our mouth following the conclusion of first round where few things happened and we didn’t get results exactly we wanted and we are looking forward to this second because we had a lot more time to try work out with the boys and the team is generally progressing and we feel much more confident that we are going to do better in this round” he added.

Maroons are kicking off the second round in 9th position on the log with 19 points from 15 games having won 5, drawn 4 and lost 6 games.

As it is the case on most of the clubs in the just kicked off second round, Bamweyana admitted that his team is also going to miss some players over licence issues.

“Yes some of our players are yet to get full clearance with licences, but we will still select from those who are readily available.

Proline FC on the other hand are coming into this without their striker Edrisa Lubega who was one of the goal scorer in the reverse fixture of 3-2 in favor of Proline at Starting Stadium, Lugogo.

Proline won the first round game 3-2 at Lugogo

Edrisa ‘Torres’ Lubega joined Estonia top flight club Paide Linnameeskond in mid December last year on loan for a period of two year.

However, the club got a boast and a replacement after confirming the signature of Brian Omonyi.

Proline are still raging behind on the bottom of the table with 9 points from 15 games .
