Sofapaka Terminates Peter Lwasa’s Contract

Kenyan Premier League Side,Sofapaka FC, has terminated the Contract of Ugandan Striker Peter Lwasa just after four months in service.

Lwasa who joined Sofapaka also known as “Batoto ba Mungu”(Chidren of God) on a one year contract from URA in August 2019, becomes the 5th Ugandan whose contract to be terminated by the club recently in December last year.

Lwasa has joined Goalkeeper Ismael Watenga who had joined from Ethiopian side coffee, defender Kasirye Muhammad who signed from Paidha black angels, Malunda Musa from BUL FC and Alla Katwe who now signed for Tooro United had signed from Nkumba University.

However the club has retained the services of Ugandan goal keeper
Nicholas Ssebwato a whom they roped from Bright Stars FC of recent

Lwasa was handed five appearances in Kenyan Premier League,where he managed to score one goal and two assists

The 2008-2009 KPL champions Sofapaka sit eighth on the Kenya Premier League log of 18 teams with 22 points accumulated from 15 games.
