Mohammed Kisekka: Embattled Tooro Acquires New Coach

Tooro United FC signs Muhammed Kisekka as their new head coach on unidentified contract period but he takes his duties with immediate effect.

This came after the resignation of interim coach Eric Ndifuna who threw in towel 3 days back after just 70 days on duty following his former boss Wasswa Bossa who had resigned at the end of October last year.

Kisekka has been jobless for almost two months after his sucking at Bright Star FC in early November last year due to unconvincing results just after three months on duty since his appointment in August 2019 due to unconvincing results and he was replaced with Paul Kiwanuka.

Previously, Kisekka coached Paida Black Angel FC before being relegated last season, he also acted as Bulemeezi Ssaza coach who are defending champions of famous Buganda Masaza Cup tournament last year.

After leaving Bright Stars FC in relegation zone, he again has a task of getting Tooro out of the same zone where it was dragged by their loss against Onduparaka in their first second-round UPL fixture at home game last Tuesday, a game which they lost by
forfeiture after failing to produce licensed players- basing on a decision taken by competition committee last friday.

However, Kisekka’s task may even be harder,as he has to worry about working with upaid players for 3 months, unlicenced players and convincing over 10 senior player who refused to join the rest of the team in second round league opener at St Paul Seminary grounds last Tuesday.

Kisekka who is going to be assisted by Charles Ssenyange,his first game in charge comes as early as next Wednesday when Tooro United travels to FUFA Technical Center, Njeru to face Kyetume FC Wednesday,

Tooro is currently 14th on the log 16 with 14 points from 16 games.
