Wakiso Giants will welcome back Tom Masiko from a long layoff when they visit Mbrarara City on Match-day 17 at Bombo Barracks.

The Midfielder has been out for a great while but his return is a big relief and major boost for Coach Livingston Mbabazi will be facing his former pay masters.

Masiko has scored three goals and the third leading goalscorer for the Purple Sharks behind Viane Ssekajugo and Karim Ndugwa who have netted seven and five respectively.

Speaking about Ndugwa, if given a chance, he will also be facing his former team where he played on loan from Wakiso when his parent club was in Big League last season.

Wakiso Giants will continue to be without Kirizestom Ntambi and new signing Geriga Atendele whose paper work isn’t done, according to the club’s website.

Wakiso will be targeting return to winning ways after going two games without a win including a 1-2 loss to Police.

Mbarara City on the other hand, also lost 1-0 to KCCA courtesy of Filbert Obenchan’s header.

Both sides will be targeting return to winning ways.

Wakiso are eighth on the log with 20 points, just one above Brian Ssenyondo’s Ankole Lions.

Masiko and Ntambi were on target as Wakiso beat Mbarara 2-1 in the reverse fixture at Wankulukuku.
