URA FC will be banking on recent form when they take on tricky BUL FC away at Njeru on Match-day 17 of the StarTimes UPL.

The tax collectors are unbeaten in their last five games since falling 1-0 to Vipers at Kitende.

Coached by Sam Ssimbwa, URA has won their last two games including a 2-0 win against SC Villa to set the tone for the second round.

However, they have to be more clinical and ruthless against BUL FC if they are to pick anything from Njeru.

Ssimbwa welcomes back versatile Brian Majwega who missed the Villa win but the coach is expected to ring a few changes to the team that beat Villa.

Striker Daniel Isiagi is expected to start ahead of Cromwell Rwothomio once again while Michael Birungi might be rewarded with a starting place in the team after coming off the bench to dagger Villa in Bombo.

Shafic Kagimu (right) scored at Namboole in the reverse fixture.

Kagimu who started at the left against Villa, is expected to return in the middle of the park with Mikidad Ssenyonga who may drop to the bench.

In the reverse fixture, URA who had led through Shafic Kagimu, were denied maximum points when Deogracious Ojok scored a beautiful freekick at the death in a 1-1 draw at Namboole

BUL FC Seek To Bounce Back

Coached by Peter Onen, BUL will be searching for maximum points after going three league games without a win.

Since beating Mbarara City 3-0 thanks to Musa Esenu’s hat-trick, BUL drew SC villa and Proline before starting the second round with a 1-0 away loss to their bogey side Bright Stars.

“Football is a game of mistakes, when u persist in your mistakes it costs you. We had all the chances and we didn’t utilise them, and at the end of it, we conceded and that was the end of everything,” said Onen after loss to Bright Stars.

“Its a team (Bright Stars) that always make it very difficult for always and have done it again today (Friday).”

Against URA, they face a team that has not won on the road in their last two outings – loss against Vipers and draw with KCCA.

This will be BUL’s first game at Njeru since Bugembe was dismissed by the licensing committee at the start of the second round.

BUL are third with 29 points, six above URA in seventh on the log.
