*BUL FC Vs URA FC – 4:30PM
*Kyetume FC Vs Tooro United – 4:30PM
*Police FC Vs Express FC – 4:30PM
Kyetume FC will be seeking to take advantage of Tooro’s tribulations when the two meet on Match-day 17 of the StarTimes UPL.
The encounter will be played at the Mighty Arena In Jinja where Kyetume opted to host from after leaving Namboole.
The reverse fixture saw Shafic Ssaka and Vicent Kayizzi on target as Kyetume beat Tooro 2-0 in Fort Portal.
Coached by Jackson Mayanja, Kyetume put up a commendable performance but lost 1-0 Vipers and will be hoping for the best on Wednesday.
The Slaughters are winless in their last five games, conceding 18 goals in that poor spell including a 7-1 loss to Onduparaka.
Robert Ssentongo and Cephas Kambugu are expected to carry the team’s scoring burden as Kyetume go all out for a win.
Kyetume sit just above the red zone with 16 points in 13th place, two points above Tooro United who are second from the bottom.
What’s Next For Tooro United
Tooro United have made headlines for basically wrong reasons before and during the second round.
They are reportedly under a new management, something FUFA has recently said that they are unaware of.
A core of senior players who stayed behind for the Onduparaka game, petitioned FUFA to intervene after going months without pay.
The team failed to assemble a squad of at least seven players last Tuesday and consequently saw their game against Onduparaka not played, for the latter to receive a walkover.
In the quick turn of events, interim coach Eric Ndifuna resigned and it’s reported that Mohammed Kisekka who was at Bright Stars and Paidha, will be on the touchline.
Tooro United’s last win was a 1-0 victory against Mbarara in November, and it’s what they can show in a total of nine games.
They will have to be at their best to break down fellow strugglers Kyetume, but that will come only if they have the required licensed players to feature.
