UPL: Troubled Tooro United Hold Poor Kyetume In Jinja

Struggling sides Kyetume FC and Tooro United played out a 1-1 draw in a league game played at the Mighty Arena in Jinja.

Cephas Kambugu scored from the spot in the seventh minute after a handball in the forbidden area to give the hosts an advantage.

Yafeesi Mubiru leveled matters in the second half, running through to slot past Joel Mutakubwa in the 52nd minute.

Kyetume, hosting at the Mighty Arena for the first time since leaving Jinja, looked the better side but could not bury their chances with Noel Nassasira, Robert Ssentongo among the players at fault.

The draw leaves Tooro United second from the bottom in 15th with as many points while Kyetume who are 13th, have collected 17.

Both sides remain without a win in their last six games with Tooro visiting KCCA while Kyetume face Police at Lugogo on Match-day 18.
