Maroons FC and BUL FC will both be seeking return to winning ways when both sides face off at Luzira in the StarTimes UPL.

The Prison wardens lost 2-1 at home to bottom placed Proline FC in their second round opener before a 1-1 draw with Onduparaka FC at Green light Stadium.

In their quest for first win in the second round, Maroons will also be looking forward to prevent a double loss against BUL following a 2-0 win in the reverse fixture played at FUFA Technical Center Njeru.

Maroons currently occupy 11th on the log with 20 points from 17 games.

If Coach Bamweyana is to pick his first win of 2020, he will need the best from targetman Steven Mukwala as well as the likes of Bayiga Patrick and Bronson Nsubuga.

BUL FC will also be looking forward to bounce to winning ways after a false start in their first two fixtures of second round where they didn’t get even a single point.

BUL lost 1-0 away to Bright Stars in their second round opener at Kavumba before being pummeled 3-1 at their home by URA FC last Wednesday.

BUL FC coach, Peter Onen is hopeful.

“The team is in a better shape because we have included some players who were not in the previous ones due to injuries and suspension, so they are all back, we hope to win this game after loosing two consecutive matches,” Onen commented.

BUL will also be looking forward to repeat what they did last season by completing a double against Moroon after 2-0 in reverse fixture courtesy of Robert Mukongotya’s brace who is yet to play any game in this round.

A win will push BUL to third where they will leapfrog SC Villa with 32 points, to keep their chances of finishing in the best position in the league ever.
