Boban Zirintusa: Busoga United Midfielder Joins Club In TZ

Busoga United Midfielder Boban Zirintusa Bogere has joined Tanzania side Mtibwa Sugar, it has been confirmed.

Boban has signed a one-and-half year contract with Mtibwa.

This will be his second spell at the club where he scored 16 goals from 44 games from 2009 to 2013.

He leaves Busoga United after a half season where he has been the club’s leading scorer with six goals.

This will be a big blow for Busoga who also recently lost striker Joel Madondo to Wydad Casablanca. However, the club has won their opening three games of the second round.

Boban, a creative and energetic midfield dynamo, joins Mtibwa with vasty experience after stints with Buildcon in Zambia, Mohun Bagan (Ethiopia) and Polokwane in South Africa.

He has also featured for top clubs in Uganda like Vipers and SC Villa. He also played for Simba SC in Tanzania during the 2008/9 season.

He finds Mtibwa in 10th with 22 points from 16 games in the Tanzanian league as the side prepare to face Azam FC on Wednesday next week.
