FMU Lauches Premier Sprint As 2020 Calendar Opener

The Federation of Motorsport Clubs of Uganda, FMU, has on Tuesday launched the first sprint of the year – Premier Sprint.

The launched event – Premier Sprint – will take place on Sunday, January 26th 2020 at Festino City Mukono where the event was also launched.

At the launch, the deputy CRO Mulwanyi Lamech announced that the event will be held on three lanes none scoring race.

Then the sprint will start at exactly noon with two runs with run A measuring 1.66KM while run B measuring 1.61KM.

The deputy Secretary general Ernest Zziwa confirmed that the Premier sprint is going to be a scoring point for National Sprint championship, two wheel drive, CRC and Baggie Championship.

This is the first of the 10 event of those championships this year.

To spice up the event, Zziwa said that they have brought Boat racing, kids play stations, Bouncing castles among others.

The event Manager Mukyakaze Jamil and his entire security team emphasized on the security of the the targeted crowd to follow the security code under the theme ‘Security is starting with me’.
