Ezz Bahader: Egypt Club Signs Oldest Player

Egyptian Football Association (EFA) has confirmed that their lower division club has signed a 75-year old player.

Ezz El-Din Bahader has signed for third division Club 6th October FC in Egypt.

He is set to become the oldest professional footballer ever with the current record held by Isaak Hayik who played for Israeli fourth-tier side Ironi in 2019 at the age of 73.

Japanese striker Kazuyoshi Miura who is aged 52, is currently the oldest professional player.

He recently signed a contract extension with Japan club Yokohama FC to play his 35th season.
