Kajoba was unveiled as Vipers coach on Sunday morning with the longevity of his contract at the club undisclosed, and there will be no room for errors for the new gaffer.

His predecessor Edward Golola left the club atop the log with 42 points, four above second placed KCCA FC – However, the Venoms were eliminated from Uganda Cup by Kajjansi United.

“We are still in the lead and not under any pressure ahead of our next games,” Kajoba told the club website.

“We are focused on working to give the team the best and the boys are fired up for this cause.”

Facing Mbarara City FC as your first opponent is not one task any coach will fancy, but Kajoba, who is a staunch catholic, will be hoping for better fortunes in Bombo.

However, this is a fixture they should win given their next four games in the league include KCCA FC and URA not to mention a trip to wounded BUL FC.
