Tooro won the first round encounter at Namboole 2-1 thanks to goals from Willy Kavuma and John Byamukama while Brian Majwega scored for URA.

However, much has changed since then. Fast forward, Tooro are languishing in the red zone with 14 points while URA FC are fourth on the log having collected 29 points.

Preview – Kyetume Vs KCCA

Charles Musiige was named player of the match in the reverse fixture at Namboole

Since beating Mbarara City 1-0 on November 3 last year, Tooro has gone seven league games without a win. They posted a one all draw with Kyetume but have since lost the match by forfeiture for using James Kasibante who was unlicensed then.

They have so far looked a solid side since the arrival of new coach Mohammed Kisekka and their performance deserved a point in a 1-0 loss against KCCA. They beat Star Light 2-3 away in Uganda Cup and will be hoping to build on that.

Yafeesi Mubiru, Charles Musiige, Kavuma, Farouk Katongole will be the team’s backbone in Fort Portal but the whole squad will have to double their efforts if they are to stop an in-form URA side.

Preview – Mbarara Vs Vipers

The Tax collectors, since losing to Vipers on November 12th last year, are unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions including a 4-0 win agaisnt Lugazi in Uganda Cup.

Michael Birungi, Rwothomio Cromwell, Shafic Kagimu and Saidi Kyeyune were on target as URA marched on to the round of 32 in emphatic fashion.

They will be targeting their fifth league win on a trot in Fort but will have to do it without goalkeeper James Alitho who hasn’t made the trip.

Joachim Ojera and Patrick Mbowa return to the squad while Moses Sseruyide and Daniel Isiagi are set to miss out.
