All is set for the inaugural edition of the CEO Golf Tournament.
The event is sponsored by Liquid telecom, the leading data, voice, and IP provider that commits to build a digital future.
About 100 Chief Executive officers (CEO) are expected to take part in a one day event this Friday, January 31 at Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa Par-72 course.
“We are very proud to be the sponsor of the inaugural CEO golf tournament,” said Liquid Telecom’s CEO Dennis Kahindi.
“We intend to make this an annual pilgrimage for different CEOs to come and associate and get opportunities to have business interactions while walking the greens of the beautiful Serena golf club.
“The objective is really to bring the CEO together and also interact among their peers, that is the idea.”
Kahindi also revealed that the format of play will be Medal, and the tourney will not have a referee as it is a social event.
Standard trophies for different categories in winners in groups ABCD, Ladies, longest drive and nearest to the pin will be given out.
“We were part sponsor for Uganda Golf Amateur and professional open, its something that we loved so much and we want to continue developing the game the best we can,” Kahinde added.
