 Tennis: Uganda To Host 4th Edition Of East African Juniors Team’s Competition

Uganda will host the 4th Edition of East African (Zone M) Junior Team’s Competition for boys and girls of 12 years and under.

The event will be held in Kampala at Lugogo Tennis Complex from 3rd to 7th March, 2020.

These are juniors tennis circuit championships under confederation of African Tennis East Africa fully recognized by International Tennis Federation(ITF).

The tourney is organised every each year and Uganda are the defending champions in girls category after beating Kenya.

Uganda Boys were runners up after losing to Kenya in the finals in the edition hosted in Nairobi Kenya, last year.

The competition will also serve as a qualifying event for the final event of the African Junior Team’s Competition of 12 & under (AJC -12&U) that will take place early September 2020.

Coach John Oduke and Edward Odocken will be in charge of team Uganda which is currently under going training at Kitintale Primary School under coach Odocken in preparation for trials to select the team for the competition.
