Mbarara City FC left back Jasper Aheebwa has lost his dad a day after he buried his daughter.
Henry ‘Biru’ Aheebwa was pronounced dead on Friday morning. He has been a resident at Kihande in Masindi, the club confirmed.
The sad news comes after the player had buried his daughter Aheebwa Linah on Thursday at Kakoba.
“Its very very sad,” said Mbarara City FC coach Brian Ssenyondo. ”The young man is going through a lot and he needs our players and support.”

Aheebwa has been very solid at Mbarara, forming a strong backline with Stephen Otieno, Souleymane Bamba and Hilary Mukundane.
He played 90 minutes as Mbarara held Vipers SC at Bombo on Tuesday. He is expected to be given a leave and will not be available when Mbarara city FC face Express at Kavumba this Sunday.
The Ankole Lions are ninth on the log with 23 points ahead of match-day 20 where they will face Express FC.
