Transfers: Tooro Sign Eddie Kapampa, Ronald Orombi

Relegation bound Tooro United have added Maroons duo Eddie Kapampa and Ronald Orombi, reports have suggested.

They have been regarded as surplus to requirements at Luzira since the arrival of coach Douglas Bamweyana.

The duo, joining on loan, will seek to help embattled Tooro United avoid relegation.

Swift Sports has reported that Laban Tibita has also joined Tooro from Maroons.

The development comes hours before the two teams face off in the league on Friday at Luzira.

Since the start of the second round, reports have suggested that Tooro has exchanged hands in terms of ownership, which led to a core of senior players to petition FUFA to intervene.

Consequently, the senior players are set to seek for greener pastures elsewhere, due to unpaid arrears.

Coached by Mohammed Kisekka, Tooro are rock bottom with 15 points and have lost two games by forfeiture – Onduparaka FC and Kyetume FC – in the second round due to license issues.

Goalkeeper Crispas Kusiima, Issa Mubiru, Yafeesi Mubiru, Farouk Katongole, Mike Kawooya, Charles Musiige remain among the team’s core.
