Express FC are set to sack head coach George Ssimwogerere, The-SportsNation sources have been told.
The decision about Ssimwogerere’s future is going to be taken during an urgent board meeting that has been called on Monday.
This comes just a day after the club lost to Mbarara City FC in the league on Sunday at Kavumba.
Makueth Wol’s header meant that the Red Eagles have lost 11 league games this season. The club had earlier lost to bitter rivals SC Villa at Bombo.
The result left Express just a point and place above the relegation zone.
The news will be highly welcomed by a section of club fans who had earlier showed their dislike for Sim’s tactics and philosophies which included letting senior players leave before the start of the 2019/20 season.

Ssimwogerere was appointed on February 5, 2019 to replace Kefa Kisala after the club had lost 2-0 at home to Police FC.
Since his arrival, Ssimwogerere has seen Express through 33 games, winning just 11, drawn seven and lost 15.
Next for Express will be a trip to Arua to face Onduparaka FC before playing Tooro, KCCA and URA. The club is still in the Uganda Cup as well.
