Coach Wasswa Bbosa is on the verge of a possible return to Express FC dugout, TheSportNation sources have learnt.
Bbosa who coached Express before he was sacked in November 2016, met club officials and an agreement has reportedly been reached.
He is expected to replace embattled George Ssimwogerere who is expected to be sacked, awaiting an official communication.
Initial reports have it that Bbosa insisted and advised to join the club at the start of the 2020/21 season but the officials at the club have feared for the worst to happen at the club that sit just above the drop.
Ssimwogerere who replaced Kefa Kisala midway through last season, has failed to execute his duties to the expectations of the fans and club board.
This follows a string of poor results including back to back losses against Villa and Mbarara City.
Bbosa who resigned at Tooro United FC last year, has recently coached at Victors, Hoima FC, SC Villa among others.
