Express FC have confirmed sacking of head coach George Ssimwogerere after a string of poor results, and appointment of Wasswa Bbosa.
According to the official letter signed by Club board secretary Ssubi Kiwanuka, the Red Eagles have appointed Wasswa Bbosa to replace Sim.

“The head coach of Express FC George Ssimwogerere has departed the club, as of today after mutual agreement with Express SC board,” reads the letter issue out on Tuesday, February 4.
“On behalf of Express, I thank Coach Sim and outgoing members of the technical team for the work done. We wish them the best in their future endeavors.
” Coach Richard Wasswa Bbosa shall forthwith take over as head coach of Express FC. Welcome Coach Bbosa and the new technical team.”
Ssimwogerere was appointed on February 5, 2019 to replace Kefa Kisala after the club had lost 2-0 at home to Police FC.
His first league game was a 1-0 away loss to BUL FC at FUFA Technical centre in Njeru.
Ssimwogerere who is a former club captain, has seen Express through 33 games, winning just 11, drawn seven and lost 15.
Coach Bbosa who sacked in 2016, makes a return to the Club and his immediate task will be helping the club to beat relegation.

Express will travel to Arua to face Onduparaka FC before playing Tooro, KCCA and URA.
