Shakira Mutiibwa: Gafford Captain Confident After Uganda Cup Draw

Asubo Gafford Captain Shakira Mutiibwa is optimistic after the 2020 FUFA Women’s Uganda Cup draw held on Monday at FUFA House, Mengo.

The draw will see Gafford take a trip to Kitgum to face Vision WFC at the round of 32.

Despite having an away tie, captain Mutiibwa believes that her side has all what it takes to reach the round of 16 and even the finals of the fourth edition.

“We are always ready, it is a good draw for us because Vision is a bit weaker side compared to us, we expect to go up to final,” Mutiibwa told The-SportsNation.

Last season, Asubo-Gafford were eliminated by Makerere University at the round of 32.
