JKL Dolphins Sign Two More Players

JKL Dolphins signing spree has extended ahead of the forthcoming 2020 National Basketball League season.

JKL has signed Andrew ‘Mabenz’ Opio and Daniel ‘Najja’ Juuko, a source has told The-SportsNation.

The duo, who put pen to paper on Wednesday, are expected to be announced as JKL Dolphins players this week.

Mabenz featured for Falcons last season where he started five of the nine games he played.

He averaged a double of double of 10 points and 11 rebounds, had three assists and as many steals for the new comers who managed to survive relegation.

He has also played for City Oilers, Sharing Youth and Gulu Hawks.

Najja played for Rez Life before joining City Oilers in 2013 where he has won seven league titles. He would be expecting to have more minutes on court for a team that has been the busiest in market so far.

The club recently announced power forward Kabengele Kabasu Rhudy aka Fukushima, John Balwigaire, Libe Makala and Innocent Ochera.

JKL also released eight players that include Ivan Lumanyika, Yesman Bushiri, Ferdinand Odama among others.

They were 15-7 in the regular season before falling to Betway Power in last season’s quarter finals.
