Bamweyana penalised by Fufa disciplinary panel
Maroons head coach Douglas Bamweyana and goalkeeping Coach Rogers Tezigwa have been penalised by FUFA Competitions Disciplinary panel over unsporting behaviors displayed by the two on their match-day 19 against Bright stars FC at Kavumba.
Its should be remembered that the duo, protested Referee Robert Donney’s officiating which they termed as “unfair” while on touchline during their last encounter at Luzira which even saw Bamweyana being booked.
Even after the match, the duo together with some of their players, attacked the referees and exchanged ‘abusive’ words to extent of starting up a fight which was only prevented by security who escorted the referee to the dressing room.

Bamweyana has been fined one million (1000000) shillings and Roger five hundred thousand (500000) shillings which they have to pay before sitting back to any technical bench of Maroons.
The panel went a head to Warn Maroons defender Maxwell Okello and goalkeeper Hannington Ssebwalunyo against any form of future unsporting conduct.
Maroons have only managed to win one game since second round and they sit 10th on the log with 24 points from 21 games and they face Express FC in Uganda cup round of 32.
