Defending Champions Heathens pummeled Buffaloes in a Kyadondo derby played under floodlights.

This was the second floodlights encounter in the Rugby Premierships Nile stout encounter after Heathens Vs Kobs game.

Joseph Oyet was the star man of the day, scoring two tries and a kick before Lawrence Ssebuliba’s try to seal a routine win.

The leaders, on top after eight straight wins, were also awarded a penalty try in a less contested affair.

Buffaloes, coming into the game on the back of a five-game winning streak, looked to be up for the occasion and would have gone in front but Wilfred Seguya’s penalty kick was far and wide.

Oyet set the tone when he scored the penalty in the 12th minute after an offside, and the Heathens never looked back as Buffaloes failed to benefit from their opponents’ errors.

This is Buffaloes third loss after previous defeats against Betway Kobs and Plascon Mongers.
