Former Express FC head coach Alex Gitta has hailed his former assistant Wasswa Bossa who is the currently the Red Eagles boss.
Bossa worked under Alex Gitta as an assistant coach during February to October 2016 before renaming him Express FC head coach though he was later replaced by Matia Lule.
The Red Eagles have suffered since, with coaches Alex Bisaso, Douglas Bamweyana, Kefa Kisala and George Ssimwogerere all sacked.
Bossa who replaced Sim, started his second spell with a narrow win over Onduparaka FC on Friday thanks to Frank Ssenyondo’s lone goal despite being a man down.
“Bossa is a hardworking coach, courageous enough to help everyone at the club to develop that habit mostly the players and he is willing to adapt to new trends that is why its easy for him to keep improving,” Gotta said.
“Express FC is still in a relegation threat but with Bossa, I hope to see them surviving. He will surely help them.”
Express occupy 11th place with 24 points, just a point above the relegation zone. Express will face Maroons in Uganda Cup before hosting Tooro United in the league.
