Regional league side Admin FC will seek to extend their fairytale in the Stanbic Uganda Cup when they visit defending champions Proline FC.

Admin FC is one of the nine Regional league clubs that are still standing ahead of the 2020 Uganda Cup round of 32.

The side, christened as Shamba Boys, ousted UPL club Police FC after a 2-0 shocking win courtesy of goals from Aaron Okoth and Walter Alele.

The Elgon group (Eastern Region) leaders with 26 points, eliminated CRO and Fisheries at earlier stages in this competition.

“We are ready for Proline at Lugogo,” said Admin FC coach Nasibu Nditta who was an assistant to Richard Makumbi at Mbarara City FC.

“I last played Proline FC in 2018 when I was still at Mbarara City FC and we beat them 3-1. It’s another chance for me and am confident.

“I will speak less about Proline but focus on my team; My players are organised, in shape and ready to conquer.”

Nasibu, however, expressed concerns about having a depleted squad that will miss about five players from the team that beat Police FC.

He will bank on senior players like Isaac Kisujju, Joseph Owino, Ibrahim Pengere, Marco Basset and Iddi Babu to pull off another shock.

They will seek to benefit from Proline’s recent struggles in the league that has seen the club lose their last two games against SC Villa and Kyetume to languish at the rock bottom with 15 points.
