Uganda U17 women team won the CECAFA

The Uganda under 17 head coach Ayub Khalifa Kiyingi has summoned a team of 27 players to start preparing for the Tanzania game ahead in the FIFA U17 Women World Cup Qualifiers.
Uganda will visit Tanzania on March 1 in the first leg at National Stadium, Dar Es Salaam before a return leg after two weeks.
The 27 players will enter the residential camp on Friday 14th February 2020 and will be staying at Cranes Paradise Hotel in Kisasi.
The team will be training at Startimes, Kawempe Muslim ground and Maroons playground in Luzira.
Three new faces have been added to the camp which include Shamira Nalugya, Grace Aluka and Latifa Nakasi.
Five players have been dropped and these include immaculate Odulu, Brenda Nakayenga, Esther Adokole, Zatuni Namaganda and Mercy Amoding.
The second leg will be played at StarTimes Stadium Lugogo on March 17th.
The Uganda Under 17 team, captained by Juliet Nalukenge, eliminated Ethiopia after a 5-1 aggregate win while Tanzania eliminated Burundi.
