Onduparaka, christened as the Catterpillars, will be commemorating the 10 years of existence on February 25, 2020 at Greenlight Stadium.

Donning a checked shirt, Nyakuni said: “We need to celebrate this as a club. Onduparaka has done a lot for the youth and we want to celebrate more and more, we want to come back here even after 25 years more success.”
“We invited President Museveni to be our guest of honour and we need to adequately prepare for his coming.
“We need this to be like a Unifying factor and I hope that today marks the beginning of what we need to do in the future. This should promote unity among us.”
The state house is yet to comment on the matter.
Club head of communication, Adams ‘Otelul’ Lematia, repeatedly emphasised that Museveni’s acceptance to grace the event shouldn’t be attached to Politics.
It remains to be seen whether Hon Robert Kyagulanyi, commonly known as Bobi Wine, will also grace the event after he was named the Club’s ambassador.

Onduparaka’s fans chairman Henry Bayiga called on the fans to come in large numbers and fill the Stadium. “We have to work hand in hand, we benefit from this club more than the management. Some of you have your business booming on Match-days.”
Museveni, on July 31 2015, donated a bus to SC Villa when he was the chief guest as the club celebrated 40 years of existence.
The 10-year anniversary comes at the helm of Onduparaka’s struggles that has seen many top players leave due to financial constraints recently.
