Villa will seek to reach the Uganda Cup round of 16 when they visit giant slayers Kajjansi United at Wankulukuku.
Kajjansi eliminated Vipers in shootouts after a 1-1 draw in normal time. Michael Male had scored in normal time while goalkeeper Michael Kagiri saved a Jacob Okao penalty to send Kajjansi through.
Villa on the other hand, beat Super Eagles 4-1 in Gulu and will be hoping for another good performance.
Coached by Edward Kaziba, the Jogoos are yet to lose a game since falling 1-0 to Busoga United on January 14 last month in the league.
They occupy third place with 37 points but have few chances to take the league title, hence much focus on the domestic cup for a silverware this season.
They have won the Uganda Cup nine times, only bettered by joint record winners KCCA and Express FC who have 10 each.
Last season, Villa bundled out by regional league side Nkambi Coffee.
Kaziba will not take chances and he will be expected to name a strong lineup to face the regional league team – However, Salim Abdallah and Benson Muhindo are expected to start.
Muhindo scored a late winner against Proline and told this website that he will not rest.
“Fans should expect much from me, I’m not resting because I want to write my name here and its the only way I can pay back my coaches,” Muhindo said.
Kajjansi lost 3-0 to UPL side Kyetume at Paradise ground (Kajjansi) in the build up game but the side will hope for better fortunes.
They will bank on captain Edgar Luzige, Mike Lutaaya, Male, Marvin Nyanzi among others.
