Busoga United will seek to benefit from home support when they host the onform URA FC on match-day 22 at the Might Arena, Jinja.

Busoga United is one of the UPL sides yet to lose a game at home in the second round, they still hold a 100% record after humbling Express, Mbarara City and BUL who have visited the Arena so far.

Both sides played a goalless draw in the reverse fixture hosted in Kampala mid November last year.

Busoga’s tactician Abbey Bogere Kikomeko is convinced that the availability of his full squad backed by the home ground will help him change the results.

Busoga lost 3-0 against Bright Stars in their last league encounter.

“We are not worried about their form because all our players are available and we are playing at home though we expect a tough challenge,” Kikomeko said.

“We don’t expect to loose another game after losing to Bright Stars because we have corrected all the mistakes done in our last game.”

Busoga sit seventh with 30 points from 21 games, just four points behind 4th placed URA, and a win for them will see them jump up to 5th to chase their top four dream.

Apart from the 10 days rest the team had due to their missing out on Uganda Cup round of 32 action, the team got another boost in the squad as they be welcoming back George Kasonko and Isma Mugulusi who have been nursing injuries.

URA is the only UPL outfit which is yet to loose a match in the second round of the league and in all competition since the start of 2020.

They have won five and drawn one in their six games played in second round so far and they are coming into this at the back of thier historical 8-3 win against Nyamitobora which they eliminated from Uganda Cup last week.

That tremendous run in the league has seen URA FC move to 4th position on the log with 34 points from 21 games and a win will see them inserting more pressure on the top three.

If the tax collectors are to change the 0-0 result in reverse fixture, the accolade winner for both Pilsner and Fortbet Star coach of the month of January 2020, Sam Simbwa who will want to maintain his run will bank on Pilsner player of the month of January Cromwel Rothomio, Joachim Ojera, Saidi Kyeyune and team captain Shafik Kagimu who displayed a good performance since the start of second round.

Daniel Isiagi who bagged a hat-trick in Uganda Cup among others, will be another vital figure for URA.
