Guard Syrus Kiviiri has left Betway Power before the new season tip-off.
He leaves the club just after a season since joining from rivals Warriors.
He is the latest to leave Power after Joseph Ikong, Geoffrey Soro, Fahmy Ssebatindira among others as the club made overhaul changes in the roster.
Negotiations between Power and Syrus have reportedly hit a dead end and the guard is on his way for greener pastures.
“I will be leaving Power,” Syrus told The-SportsNation. “I am yet to know my final destination.”
Syrus was without doubt Power’s best player last season as the club were bundled out by UCU Canons in the semifinals.
He was the club’s leading points scorer, averaged 17 points and started 25 of 29 games he featured for the side.
The club has indirectly replaced Syrus with Brian Walters and Yesman Bushiri among other new guards.
Ivan Lumanyika, Yani Niwa and Patrick Seduge are the other new players for Power who last tasted league victory in 2011.
Guddi Nasser, commonly known as Kikiri, has renewed his contract with Power, this website can confirm. Isaac Afidra and Amini Mkosa are the other two remaining players who were with the club last season after the departure of Brian Sivachi who joined KIU Titans.
