Football Association of Zambia (FAZ) has inquired about Uganda Cranes availability to take part in a three-nation friendly tournament, a source has disclosed to this website.

Zambia’s Chipolopolo, Uganda Cranes and Zimbabwe’s Warriors are the three nations to take part in the tourney, FUFA is yet to confirm.

The suggested games, if this comes to fruition, will be played in the upcoming international window between March 17-20.

This is expected to mould the countries as they prepare for 2021 AFCON qualifiers and 2020 CHAN tourney in Cameroon.

The matchups will bring together Uganda Cranes and former coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredejovic who is the head coach of Zambia.

Uganda are pitted alongside South Sudan, Burkina Faso and Malawi in 2021 AFCON Qualifiers.

The locally based players will play in 2020 CHAN tourney in Cameroon where they are in group C with Morocco, Rwanda and Togo.
