Leading online betting company BungaBet has received deserved praises from Tourism, Wild Life and Antiquities Minister Hon Suubi Kiwanda.
BungaBet, whose head offices in Uganda are located at Aponye Mall in Kampala, were issued local license on February 6, 2017 by National Gaming Board Uganda.
Kiwanda made the remarks during the Company’s team building day.

“I would like to congratulate you upon finishing the year 2019 and entering 2020 successfully. I would also like to congratulate you on running a successful betting company that had set job for Ugandans,” started Kiwanda.
“I understand you employ over 150 Uganda, which is commendable. You also pay taxes to the Government of Uganda, which supports and grows Uganda’s economy. I thank and salute you.”
The betting company is highly known for providing a big variety on all markets to the punters.
BungaBet also operates an online casino that offers slot machine from several top worldwide provider.
The Minister added:
“I would like to thank the management of Bungabet for getting involved in the Corporate Social Responsibility Projects that promote tourism through Sports among others.”
He commended BungaBet’s initiative to mentor and help the young people through football academy of Edgar Watson and Excel Soccer Academy.
BungaBet was also lauded for paying school fees for over 80 secondary school students friends of Uganda Wildlife Conservation Education Centre.
Kiwanda, on behalf of the Government, pledged to continue supporting the efforts of such companies in order to continue growing the economy of the country.
The Company’s CEO Prosper Tuhaise noted that they have renovated schools, provided equipment for health Centres eg. Nshwere health Centre and Bukiro health Centre among others.
