*Express FC 1-2 URA

URA FC snatched maximum points to hand Wasswa Bbosa his first loss since joining Express FC.

The Tax collectors beat Express FC 2-1 in an empty Wankulukuku stadium.

Frank Kalanda’s strike in the second half proved to be a consolation after goals from Ntege Anwar and Mikidad Ssenyonga had put URA in front.

This was Express FC’s first league game at Wankulukuku and the side remain in 28 points while Sam Ssimbwa’s side move to 40 points.

The Visitors looked a better side from onset, holding the highest possession which paid off in just 15 minutes of play when Ssenyonga scored off Saidi Kyeyune’s corner kick.

Five minutes into the second half, substitute Anwar who replaced Daniel Isiagi doubled the lead with a header off shafik Kagimu’s right wing cross.

Kyeyune had a chance to make it three but his screamer rattled the woodwork after being deflected by goalkeeper Mathias Muwanga.

In the 72nd minute, Kalanda pulled one back off Frank Ssenyondo’s assist but it proved to be late for the hosts to fight back.

Earlier in the game, Kalanda had his header cleared away by Benjamin Nyakoojo from the goalline.

Eric Kambale also shot far wide from close range.

URA FC will host Police in their next fixture next month while Express FC will make a trip to Luzira to play Maroons
