Kyetume FC will be looking forward to hand a sweet revenge to Onduparaka when they host the Carterpillars on match-day 24 of Startimes Uganda Premier league at the Mighty Arena, Jinja.
Kyetume suffered their heaviest and most humiliating defeat since their entrance in the league, following a 7-1 loss in the reverse fixture played in Arua.
Deo Isejja scored for the Slaughters while Julius Malingumu and Jamal Malish had hat-tricks each. Vitalis Tabu scored the other goal for Onduparaka.
They are coming into this game after earning an away after a one all draw in their last game against Wakiso Giants.
Kyetume have won two and drawn in their last four games, which is their best run of the season where they occupy 12th position with 27 points from 23 games.
A win will create a six point gap for Kyetume from relegation zone – The side will move three places up to 9th position.
Kyetume will bank on veteran forward Robert Ssentongo who netted a brace in their last home game win of 4-3 against Mbarara.
Feni Ali has had an impressive start while Joel Mutakubwa has been consistent and his call up to the national team was highly expected.
For the visitors, they will be seeking to bounce back after four straight games with out a win.
The caterpillars lost to Express FC, Vipers SC and SC Villa before drawing to Mbarara City in their last encounter at Greenlight
Stadium in Arua.
Onduparaka is yet to win a single game in play on away since second round apart from the one they scooped through the board decision after Tooro’s failure to present licensed players in the second round opener.
They current sit 8th on the log with 31 points from 23 games and a win won’t only be a good supplement to end their 10th birth day celebration in style, but it will see them move occupy 6th seat.
