*Busoga United Vs Kyetume FC – 4:30pm

KCCA FC will be without eight first team players when they host Proline FC on Tuesday at the Startimes Stadium, Lugogo on match-day 25.

The defending champions who seek to close gap at top will miss midfielder Gift Ali who is suspended after accumulating three yellow cards.

Musa Ramathan is suspended as well while John Revita’s return remains to be known. Mike Mutyaba is still on leave since losing his brother.

Charles Lukwago, Jackson Nunda, Nicholas Kasozi and Muzamir Mutyaba are sidelined with injuries.

However, KCCA FC manager Mike Mutebi believes there is no time to worry about their lack of depth in squad.

“Its a pitty to us lacking some of our best players at the moment but there are lads to fill the void left by these players,” Mutebi commented.

“We are not going to be sorry for ourselves because we have good players. When Gift Ali is out we expect Saddam Juma to come and fill the gap.”

KCCA come into the game with all odds on their side to win against Proline a side the’ve found easy to win at Lugogo.

They beat the side 4-0 in the reverse fixture with an Allan Okello brace before Sam Ssenyonjo and Nicholas Kasozi scoring a goal each.

KCCA come in the tie in the second position, four points adrift of Vipers who will be playing Wakiso Giants later on in the week.

Mutebi’s side returned to winning ways when they beat Police FC 1-0, courtesy of Herbert Achai, to end a two-game draw run.

Without Lukwago, youngster Ali Mwisiru is expected to be in between the posts while Julius Poloto will wear the captain’s armband.

“I will give these young lads chance and when they prove I will not turn down. Ali kept a cleansheet in our previous game against all odds and he will start in goal,” Mutebi added.

On the other hand, Proline FC who last beat KCCA FC in the 2016/17 season, will be eager to collect maximum points against their landlords seeking survival from relegation.

The Baker Mbowa coached side come into the fixture rejuvenated having won against Tooro united in their previous fixture thanks to a Bright Anukani brace.

Proline FC who are bottom of the table with 21 points out of 24 games will be with out the services of James Begisa, Ibrahim Wammanah and goalkeeper Hassan Matovu who are on loan from the hosts.

Bright Anukani will be a player to define all odds as described by Mutebi.

“Proline is comprised of good players who can damage any team, Bright Anukani is their star player but we won’t give a close eye on him alone.”
