Mbarara City FC will welcome back Souleymane Bamba and Solomon Okwalinga when they take on Bright Stars FC at Kavumba.
Bamba returns from injury and is expected to partner captain Hillary Mukundane at the Heart of defence.
Okwalinga missed the club’s last game (1-0 BUL FC) against after accumulating yellow cards.
The Ankole Lions will also expect Brian Aheebwa and Ibrahim Orit to join the team from National duties with the Uganda Cranes.
Tom Ikara, Jude Ssemugabi and Hillary Mukundane all wait late fitness tests, the club has confirmed.
Mukundane was on target as Mbarara beat BUL 1-0 in their last league encounter.
Against Bright Stars, they face a team that come into the game on the back of a 2-1 loss to SC Villa at Namboole and will be hoping to bounce back.
At Kavumba, Bright Stars have won their last five league games – Beating BUL, KCCA, Maroons Busoga United and Proline FC.
Mbarara City occupy 7th place with 33 points while Bright Stars are 10th with 29 points, seven points above the red zone.
