Beach Volleyball: Uganda Target Olympics Tickets

Hosts Uganda are optimistic ahead of the second round of the Women Volleyball Confederation cup group D White sand beach in Entebbe.

The national team head coach Sam Meya is confident that his team will progress to the third round of the competition which will take place between 9th to13th March 2020 and it stands as an Olympics qualifiers.

“We are at home, we will use our home advantage, to play on sand which we are used to play on, the home support and our team is in good shape as well,” said coach Meya

Uganda qualified to the second round after the zonal competition held in Tanzania earlier this year in January.

At this second round, Uganda will play in a round robin format against Egypt, Mozambique, Guinea Conakry and Zimbabwe in group D.

Uganda targets top two finish to qualify for the third round.

The competition contains U18, U20 and U23 categories.

Team Uganda players are Peace Busingye. Margret Namyalo, Kauthar Nagoya and Joanita Nabbuto.
