NBL: Journeyman Brian Ssentongo Joins New Team

Big man Brian Ssentongo has joined National Basketball League side Sharing Youth, The-SportsNation can confirm.

He was in talks to rejoin former team Falcons before the Nsambya based team tabled a bigger offer.

Ssentongo joins as a free agent after he was released by KIU Titans, a club he played for just a season from Our Saviour BC.

Last season, Ssentongo averaged five points and six rebounds for KIU Titans who were ejected by warriors in the quarters.

Ssentongo has also played for Falcons, City Oilers, Ndejje University and Miracle Eagles.

Sharing Youth finished outside the playoffs brackets and the new signing is expected to boost Raymond Muhumuza’s front court as they target better fortunes in the forthcoming season.

Sharing Youth will open their league campaign with a fixture against Falcons on March 21.
