“It was Galaxy School’s sports day and we incorporated it with a soft launch,” Okeng told The-SportsNation. “The mega launch is coming, we will invite all the stakeholders on the day.”

“I introduced the game, and in fact the parents were pleased. We are waiting for an endorsement from the school principal so that this can be added on their sports curriculum.”

Okeng added that they have so far targeted international schools first before they move across.

Kampala Diplomatic international school, Gems Cambridge, Vienna, Hannah, International school of Uganda among others are already on board.

He revealed that they plan to hold Football camps where they will accommodate everyone.

The Federation also has plans of forming a schools league, a process which is in it’s advanced stage.

“We have not been so aggressive with the non-international schools but we have them at the back of our minds,” Okeng added.

Traditional rugby schools look St Mary’s Kisubi, Namilyango, Kings College Buddo among others are next on the calendar as it’s easier for rugby playing students to master the sport in a short while.
