Two Kenya national team Morans players Mike Makiadi and Ariel Okall Koranga have joined City Oilers as the club prepare for a routine league triumph.
The duo are not new to Ugandan league having featured for the local clubs in recent times.
Makiadi has been training with City Oilers at Silver Springs since last week and makes a return since he left in 2017.
He played for Co-op bank in Kenya before coming to Uganda for KIU Titans. He also played for Betway Power and Rwanda’s Patriots.
Okall returns after featuring for Falcons in 2015.
He is currently playing for Algerian side Union Sportive Setifienne where he joined from KPA on a 6-month deal.
He will be joining Oilers next month, a source has confirmed.
Joseph Ikong, John Dombo (UMU Flames) and Nam Blazers duo Emmanuel Makuei and Ruai Gatyang are the other new players.
Jonathan Egau and Francis Azolibe are ruled out for the coming season despite successful surgeries while Stephen Omony is all but retired.
The Oilers will be seeking to defend their league crown, for an eighth-time, as they hope to prosper in Basketball Africa League qualifiers.
