Uganda U17 captain Juliet Nalukenge has vowed to lead the team past Tanzania as the sides face off at Startimes stadium on Saturday in the FIFA U17 women world cup qualifiers.
Uganda come into the return leg on a back foot of a 2-1 loss in Tanzania
A win of 1-0 will see the Ayub Khalifah coached team make it to the next hurdle as Uganda look to reach the next round.
“As players we are ready for tomorrows game against Tanzania , we need victory and this can be attained if we score more goals” Nalukenge speaking to the press in a pre-match press conference after the teams training session at Lugogo
“We don’t need Tanzania to score us because we are at home with an away goal that is very important to us , we need to score at least two goals and above ” Nalukenge added
Midfielder Shamilah Nalujja will be a huge boost for Ayub’s side that will be without Shakirah Nyinagahirwa who accumulated a number of yellow cards that rule her out.

“With hours to the game , I believe I have prepared the girls well and they will bring positive results”
“There will be no change with the selection from that which played away only the inclusion of Nalujja who will be replacing suspended Shakira” Ayub Khalifah speaking to the press ahead of the Tanzania duel
” we don’t want to conceed but all we need is to score goals”
About Uganda losing to Tanzania whenever both sides meet Ayub khalifah Kiyinji believes his side will be one to remember
