“I faced him in school championships, that was the 2014 FEASSA Games in Tanzania, Kibuli SS vs St.Mary’s kitende I was in kibuli and we lost in finals through spot kicks 5:4,” Mukwala narrated.

“He gave me a hard time during that game to an extent that I made only 2 shots on target.”

Mukwala is a paced forward who attracts every defender’s attention. He says that Halid has all the attributes of a good defender and can dispossess a forward without a bad tackle.

Lwaliwa, according to UPL stats, has picked only one yellow card this season. He joined Vipers in 2014 from the school (Kitende) team.

“He is good in aerial balls, of which it is a challenge to a striker,” adds Mukwala.

“Halid has speed and a striker finds it hard to beat him using speed. He is also good in passing the ball, he has got strength which is also a challenge to a striker.”
