 Sam Bugembe: Sports Fraternity Mourn Fallen Comrade

A very humourous young man who afforded to smile even in the face of adversity, RIP Sam Bugembe!

Uganda Sports Journalists have been dealt with the sad news of the death of their comrade Bugembe.

He passed away in the wee hours of Saturday, due to heart attack.

He had ealier struggled with Ulcers in the same period, his closest friend Ali Ssewanyana, a fellow journalist, told The-SportsNation.

A resident of Ndejje Lubugumu, Bugembe had gone back to his parents’ home in Nakabanga Mukono where he breathed his last. Burial is tentatively set on Easter Sunday, 11am.

He has been working with Bwino (Luganda newspaper) and Rock TV. He also had stints with Radio Sapientia, Kamunye Newspaper, HGTV and Paka Sports.

“Oh God this is terrible. Sam was an epitome of humor. Eno edunia etunaliramu bwerere. ????,” commented Sports Journalist Afrikana Nsereko Hamza in one of the media platforms.

On a sad news our viewers we have lost our sports presenter Sam Bugembe ….May His Soul Rest in Peace …
