Express FC forward Frank ‘Machete’ Kalanda has lauded club coach Wasswa Bbosa saying that the gaffer “pushes them to the limit.”
Kalanda who joined Express at the beginning of the season, has scored 11 goals in the league for the Red Eagles.
Bbosa replaced sacked George Ssimwogerere midway through the second round and has managed to collect a couple of good results.
“Wasswa Bbosa is a coach who likes to work with players he has groomed,” Kalanda commented, as quoted by club sponsor Betway.
“And he pushes them to the limit. I was lucky to have worked with him and I must be the player who has scored the most goals for him.”
“He analyzes a player, looks at his weak point and makes it their strong point.”
Only Steven Mukwala (13), Fahad Bayo (12) and Ben Ocen (12) have scored more league goals for Kalanda this ongoing campaign.
Kalanda has managed to forge a formidable trio with Frank Ssenyondo and Dissan Galiwango who have scored seven and six goals respectively.
This is Kalanda’s second spell for Express after featuring for the side in the 2012/13 season.
He has previously played for AS Kigali (Rwanda), Soana FC, Kase FC, St Mary’s FC Nabweru, Nabweru and URA FC.
Express FC’s remaining five league games include Wakiso Giants, Bright Stars, BUL FC, Vipers and Kyetume FC.
