Uganda’s left back Joseph Ochaya is now a two-time league champion with TP Mazembe after the side were awarded the title following the cancellation of the 2019/20 football season because of Covid19.
Ochaya who joined Mazembe in October 2018, helped the club to the 2018/19 league title and they have managed to defend it this season.
This is their 18th title.
Ochaya, before joining Mazembe, played for KCCA FC, Asante Kotoko and Lusaka Dynamos.

Mazembe had collected 53 points from 20 games, five above Vita Club in second place who had played three games more. The two teams will represent DR Congo in CAF Champions league next season.
AS Maniema Union and Club Motema Pembe finished third and fourth respectively in a 16-team league and will play in the CAF Confederation Cup.
A total of 50 people have died, 148 recovered in DR Congo from Coronavirus where 1169 cases have been confirmed.
