Vipers Declared Champions As FUFA Ends League

Vipers SC have been declared Champions of the 2019/20 season by the Federation of Uganda Football Association FUFA.

The latest news from the governing body comes after the Current season of the 2019/20 was ended by FUFA.

Having played the league 75%, Vipers were leaders with 54 points from 25 games played before the league was halted because of Covid19. The Venoms were four points ahead of KCCA FC who had 50 points from the same number of games.

In the same scenario, Tooro united, Maroons and Proline FC have been relegated and will feature in the 2020/21 Fufa Big league.

On the other hand MYDA and UPDF have gained automatic promotion to the top tier. The two sides had led their respective groups in the first round of the big league.

Kiboga United, Kitara, Ndejje University and Kataka are the other teams that will face off in the play off to make up the third team to join UPDF and MYDA.
