American Football Federation of Uganda President Steven George Okeng has been appointed to the Marketing and Commercial Committee of the International Federation Of American Football.

Okeng confirmed the appointment through a letter from IFAF President Richard MacLean dated May 16, seen by this website.

“I would like to thank you for your nomination to the following IFAF committee: Marketing and Commercial,” reads a letter to Okeng in part.

“I am pleased to inform you that the board has provisionally accepted your nomination.”

The marketing and commercial committee is one of the committees which support the Executive team in ensuring that the sport is managed effectively.
