Rwanda’s 13-year old Crespo Tegre Tabu is set to join French giants PSG, reports in Rwanda have confirmed.
The youngster will go direct into PSG’s academy according to NewTimes Rwanda.
He proved his worth during the the Ijabo Ryawe Youth Championship in 2018 as he captained SC Kiyovu academy to win the title.
The teenager, son to late former Rwanda international Patrick Mutesa Mafisango (RIP), says that he wants to continue with his father’s legacy.
“My dream is to play at the highest level possible. I want to do something that no other footballer has even done in Rwanda,” Tegre is quoted by Times Sport.
His mother Rosine Uwineza has said that they were almost done with travelling documents before Covid19 pandemic but will go after lockdown is lifted.
Rwanda who played her first Africa Cup of Nations in the 2004 edition, has since struggled to return on track. The country’s other succession the national team is the 1999 CECAFA championship victory.
