Ashraf Mugume: New Signing Reveals Why He Joined KCCA

KCCA FC new signing Ashraf Mugume has revealed why he joined the 13-time league champions.

Mugume was unveiled during the KCCA FC TV show on Sanyuka TV.

The attacking midfielder, released by Vipers in January, signed a four-year contract.

He says that he was attracted by KCCA FC’s beautiful game which suits his style of play and told the fans to expect the best from him.

“I joined KCCA because of the way they play, they are organised, the way they behave, their system of play. It is my style of play,” Mugume said.

“The fans should expect more goals and a lot of passes from me because am an attacking midfielder.”

Mugume who was regarded as surplus to requirements at Vipers, had a loan stint with Uganda Premier League side Police FC.

The St Mary’s SS graduate was unveiled alongside Charles Lwanga and the duo becomes KCCA FC’s first new signings for the 2020/21 season.

KCCA FC who reportedly released a couple of players, are also linked to more other new signings that include Brian Aheebwa and Pius Obuya
